I have two of these knives. The blades are thicker than other replaceable blade knives on the market. Which I prefer. I do not worry about breaking a blade off while breaking down an animal. The blades hold an edge very well. I have completely quartered and de-boned an entire elk with just two blades. Deer and antelope sized game can easily be broken down with a single blade.
The blades are simple to change out. Simply push a small button and pull the blade straight out. Sometimes the blade can get gummed up with fat and blood and require a little more force to get them to release.
I love that it comes in a flo orange color so I am not constantly looking for it after I set it on the ground.
The EDC clip does not work well for me. Once clipped into my pocket, the knife is to bulky for my personal tastes. I carry the knife and a few extra blades in my kill kit located in my pack.
Overall a great hunting knife that won’t break the bank.
The Vortex Diamondback HD 10x42 binoculars are a great option for a quality glass that won’t break the bank. I purchased these for my boys for their first pair of binos. Kids can be hard on equipment and I didn’t want to overspend while they learned to take care of their optics. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of them. I even found myself borrowing them from my boys on a few of my personal hunts.
The King Kong Chair is just awesome. Its sturdy steel frame provides great support, while the padding is very comfortable. I love the cup holders and a side pocket, this chair is a must-have for camping, fishing, and more. It's seems to have a rugged design and weather-resistance material.
This spring it seems that ticks have been even more plentiful than years past. I cannot set foot into the woods without having a tick crawl on me. Lethal No Ticks is the best solution I've found. It also does a good job of repelling mosquitos and gnats. Also, it's unscented so even during deer season it's a great option while hunting. Made in the USA. I will always keep a bottle in my truck and in my turkey vest.
I have run this rest for the past 3 years. I have had no issues with it. I am not easy on equipment and this rest has taken the abuse I have put it through. It has worked flawlessly through a wide range of temperatures. From 90 degrees in the summer to -20 degrees on some of those late hunts it has never failed me. It is easy to set up and make small adjustments.
Shooting at steep angles accurately requires a dialed in 3rd axis. The Hamskea 3rd Axis level makes this process quick and easy. Setup is quick and straightforward. It attaches to your bow or sight securely with no fear of it falling off. The bubble level is easy to see and accurate.
This is a hard hitting gun. The guide gun comes in 4 different calibers
(30-06, 338, 375 ruger and 416 ruger). The gun comes with a muzzle break and has a beautiful Green Mountain laminate stock.
