I have worn the Corrie II Hiker while hunting for sheep, elk, pronghorn and mule deer. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and for me, the break-in period was zero. I love the lacing system and the Grapon outsole grips all types of terrain well. The 7-inch tall upper hits a perfect height, and because the boots aren’t insulated, my feet don’t sweat like crazy on those early-season hunts. The stiching is reinforced, and you’ll love the Windtex waterproof breathable flexible membrane. I do recommend treating the boots with Kenetrek’s Waterproofing Boot Wax once or twice a year.

I have worn the Corrie hiker extensively the past few seasons and to say I’m impressed is a understatement! They are extremely comfortable and light making them the perfect comfor early season bowhunting for elk and mule deer. I’ll definitely be buying another pair as soon as these are work out.

The Kenetrek Mountain Extreme 400 boot is by far my favorite boot I have ever worn hunting. I have worn them hunting many different species around the globe. They are great in the ladder stand bowhunting Whitetail Deer in Illinois to chasing Brown Bears in Alaska. They are just plain comfortable and so well made. I am very happy with how well the soles have stood up, especially after hunting nasty rocks and shale. The ankle support is great and they make side hilling safer and more comfortable. I even wear them ob the farm for long days of milling lumber. These are the first boot that has lasted multiple seasons. Hands down, my favorite pair of boots!

This is my go to boot for when the temps drop below freezing. The 400 grams is perfect for those one the move to keep you warm but lower the potential for sweat. Add some boot covers for long sits.

I am a mid height boot guy generally, but when the late season rolls around I always reach for my Kenetrek Mountain Extremes. Their 400 gram insulation is the perfect amount for late season in the mountains. The tread is a great pattern that provides great traction in snow and mud. They take a little break in, but once they are broken in they are unbelievably comfortable and last for many years!

i purchased these 2 years ago for my first set of gaitors as an alternative to wearing heavy knee high boots all the time. They have held up tremendously well throughout 2 turkey seasons and 1 deer season. I use these when i know i wont have to encounter flowing water or swamps. Theyre lighter than my knee high boots and in conjunction with my Salewa lace ups, are much easier on my legs and knees. Because i feel less fatigued i can hunt farther for longer. These are a must have!

I have been using the Glacier Heavyweight Boot Height Sock by Kenetrek for a few months now and I have to say, I am extremely impressed. I initially purchased them for hunting trips, but they have quickly become my go-to socks for everyday wear. They are incredibly warm and comfortable, and have kept my feet toasty in some of the coldest temperatures. The quality of the construction is top-notch and they have held up well in the wash. What I really love about these socks is that they are designed to be worn with boots and they fit perfectly. They stay up all day without slipping and they don’t bunch or wrinkle, which is a huge plus. The extra padding in the heel and toe also provides extra cushioning and support, which I really appreciate. I highly recommend the Glacier Heavyweight Boot Height Sock by Kenetrek to anyone looking for a high-quality, warm, and durable sock. They are worth every penny and I will definitely be purchasing more in the future. 5 stars!

Personally I have been through 2 pairs of these boots, but I have used them not only riding horses but hiking tons of miles in them as well guiding. Waterproof, warm, and comfortable. The removable liner is great for drying them at night if your feet do end up getting wet or sweating too much. They go in and out of stirrups really easily. I have worn these boots in several feet of snow, both hiking and riding. Feet have stayed warm and dry, the high tops are great and what I prefer for ankle support. Kenetrek has a great opportunity to get them repaired and resouled when needed. I have sent 1 pair in after a fox ate the tongue and got them back quickly fully repaired. If you end up hiking a ton in them they rubber bottoms will crack and get holes, that is my only complaint. But kenetrek will repair them for a pretty fair price when you send them in.
