I won this scope through a raffle, after sending my late 80's Ruger M77 in 270 Win off to get Cerakoted and cleaned up i decided it was time to upgrade the scope from the stock weaver 1 power scope. Since my .270 isnt exactly a long range rifle, this scope is perfect. typically i carry my 270 on long hikes or in denser timber, so the 3-9 power scope is great. it took a little getting used to as the old scope was great for close quarters. Even though the diamondback glass isnt Vortex's top glass i dont have many issues with blurryness as its a lower power scope anyways. the scope was easy to sight in, getting mounts to fit on the dovetail type mounts for the M77 was easy. would buy this again, would also be great scope for rimfire rifles. cant beat the vortex warranty either so its great all around
